For me, composing music is the most ungraspable, but also the most wonderful, intense and profound thing to do in this earthly reality. Beethoven once expressed this beautifully in a letter to his friend Brunsvik: ‘Mein Reich ist in der Luft, wie der Wind ist, so wirbeln die Töne, so oft wirbelt’s auch in der Seele’
